Borough of Carlisle Receives $1.2 Million Transportation Infrastructure Investment

​Congratulations to the Borough of Carlisle on a $1.2 Million Transportation Infrastructure Investment from the Shapiro Administration.  

These funds will be used to execute the Carlisle Connectivity Project which consists of roadway improvements to North Hanover Street and Carlisle Springs Road and installation of a new traffic signal at the intersection; construction a 5-point roundabout at the intersection of North Hanover Street, West and East Penn Streets, and Fairground Avenue; and above-grade railway safety improvements to North Hanover Street and Fairground Avenue.

The Delta Team was brought on by the Borough of Carlisle in 2023 to provide technical assistance for priority projects. For this project Delta was able to provide an IMPLAN impact report to quantify and project project outcomes and also provided outreach to key stakeholders for the project.

The Connectivity Project is moving forward due to the Borough of Carlisle’s dedication to safety, job creation and infrastructure upgrades for residents and visitors.
