Bedford County Development Authority (BCDA) received $2.6M from a Federal EDA grant, $1.25M in Pennsylvania RACP funding and $100K in Keystone Communities funding for the development of the 24,000-square-foot multi-tenant building at the Bedford County Business Park.
Cell-Con, a manufacturer that produces battery packs for a variety of industries including, medical, sensors, military and robotics, is anchor tenant for the new business park. This project will allow Bedford County to retain a local manufacturer with roots in Bedford Township while promoting continued improvement of the local business climate.
