The role would consist of the following responsibilities:
- Lead the recruitment and selection process to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Conduct an effective onboarding process to guarantee employees are thoroughly acclimated to the organization and familiar with the benefit program.
- Oversee the company benefit program by participating in the annual renewal process for medical, dental, and vision plans, managing benefit enrollments and changes, and communicating the benefit program to employees.
- Implements, maintains, and reviews the payroll processing system to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries and benefits.
- Promote a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and maintaining open lines of communication. Provide support to managers in handling employee-related issues.
- Manage the employee review process by providing the leadership team with the appropriate performance background material.
- Coordinate learning opportunities to enhance employee skills and capabilities by leading the professional development program to promote employee growth.
- Ensure the organization is compliant with federal, state, and local labor laws, and regulations including HR policies, practices, and procedures.
- Assist with event planning for clients from start to finish including venue, catering, invitations, etc.
- Manage the organizations federal and state lobbying compliance.
- Work in conjunction with other team members on various client projects as needed.
