Delta Development Group, Inc., a thriving consulting firm in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania, has an opening for an Associate to join its public funding / economic development team. This position will work collaboratively with our team and clients on implementation of economic development strategies. This position is located at its headquarters in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.
As an Associate, you will work collaboratively with Delta’s team, advancing our client’s economic development initiatives, and assisting our client, to secure state and federal project funding. This comprehensive effort will include researching and analyzing funding programs, data for economic development plans, economic impact (benefit cost) analysis, drafting reports, project descriptions, and preparing grant program materials. You will also assist with marketing and business development functions.
The ideal candidate possesses a degree from an accredited college or university with a thorough knowledge of economic development and the workings of the government at the local, state, and federal levels is helpful. Grant writing experience with Pennsylvania’s Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) and Multimodal program applications is beneficial. You must possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills and have the desire to expand your knowledge base to assist the project team.

Disaster Preparedness Solutions Associate
Delta Development Group, Inc., a consulting firm headquartered in Camp Hill Pennsylvania, has an opportunity for an Associate to join its Disaster Preparedness Solutions team. This position is based in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and will be a member of a team of professionals, working to improve the health and safety of citizens through planning, training, exercising, and the mitigation of potential disaster incidents resulting from natural, man-made, and technological hazards.
The Associate will be responsible for developing, designing, and coordinating a wide range of emergency management assessments, planning, training, and exercise activities for Delta’s clients under the direction of a project manager. The Associate will conduct research of relevant federal, state and local emergency guidance documents, statutes, policies, procedures, and best practices. The Associate assists in preparation of emergency operations plans and other projects as required by our clients. The Associate is responsible for preparation of all Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)-consistent exercise documents to include scenarios, briefings, exercise plans, player/controller/evaluator handbooks, messages, and after-action reports.
The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in emergency management, public health, or a related field. Strong written and oral communication skills, research and analytical skills, and the ability to turn ideas and concepts into plans or reports are required. The candidate should possess basic knowledge and/or experience in public health or healthcare system preparedness. Familiarity with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and U.S. Health and Human Services Preparedness Capabilities is preferred. Completion of the Federal Emergency Management Agency Independent Study Courses IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-800, as well as completion of the HSEEP course a plus.
This is a full-time position in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
