Delta congratulates The ClearWater Conservancy of Central Pennsylvania, Inc. (ClearWater Conservancy) for the groundbreaking of the new Hamer Community Conservation Center in College Township, Centre County. The 10,392 S.F. building, located along picturesque Spring Creek, will serve as a regional hub for community interaction, including community engagement events, environmental education, conservation leadership, recreation, and ecotourism/agritourism. The project was made possible by funding contributions from the Hamer Foundation, Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) POWER Program, Governor’s Office of the Budget Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2), West Penn Energy Fund, and the Happy Valley Adventure Bureau. Through its work with ClearWater Conservancy, Delta was directly involved with securing $3,050,000 in federal and state public funding through ARC POWER, RACP, and DCNR C2P2.
