$1.3M Bus and Bus Facilities Funding Award to WRTA

Congratulations to the Western Reserve Transit Authority (WRTA) on their $1.3M U.S. DOT Federal Transit Administration Bus and Bus Facilities Funding Award. These funds will be used to prepare for a transition to an all-electric bus fleet by upgrading WRTA’s bus barn facility to support electric bus chargers, equipping it with solar panels, and upgrading the fire suppression system. This project will improve safety and prepare WRTA to meet its zero emission bus goals by 2030.
