Delta Development Group, Inc., a consulting firm headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, is seeking a qualified candidate for a project analyst with our Disaster Preparedness Solutions team. This position is located in Smyrna, Delaware – Candidate must reside within daily commuting distance, no relocation or mileage expenses considered.
The Project Analyst will be responsible for supporting numerous initiatives for Delaware’s Crisis Response to Opioids project. The Project Analyst will work independently and with a team to accomplish specific objectives including, but not limited to:
1).Assessing and inventorying state and local efforts to address opioid addiction, treatment, and recovery. 2).Identifying training opportunities and developing programs to support those identified needs. 3).Supporting a series of workshops and seminars to develop a model opioid response system and system of care.
The Project Analyst must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in emergency management, public health, behavioral health, nursing, or a related field. Experience in leading complex initiatives and teams is required. Strong written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated history of personal initiative and leadership are required. The Project Analyst should possess basic knowledge and/or experience in emergency management, public health, or behavioral or healthcare systems. Completion of the Federal Emergency Management Agency incident management courses a plus.
This is a part-time (22.5 hours per week), limited term (one year), contractual position located at the client’s office in Smyrna, Delaware. Candidate must be available by October 1, 2018. Frequent in-state travel is anticipated. Occasional overnight travel may be required. There is potential for this position to migrate into a full-time position to support other Delta project work in the mid-Atlantic region.
