DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE
An established consulting firm seeks an energetic professional for an Associate position within its Development Services team.
The position involves monitoring and researching federal and state economic development programs, preparing applications and materials for grant and loan applications, attending public and private meetings on behalf of clients, and representing the firm at various events. The Associate will cultivate relationships with clients by working collaboratively with them on the implementation of economic development strategies designed with the Associate’s input. The Associate will also assist with marketing and business development functions.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and general knowledge of economic development and the workings of government at the local, state and federal levels. Grant writing experience is beneficial. The candidate must possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, a strong work ethic, and the desire to assist in generating business development opportunities.

REGIONAL MEDICAL SURGE PLANNER
Delta Development Group’s Emergency Preparedness, Response, and Recovery Solutions consulting team has an immediate need for a regional medical surge planner located in northwest Pennsylvania. The position will coordinate the medical surge planning efforts within the PA Department of Health’s northwest health district office. The planner works collaboratively with district office staff, project team members, and external stakeholders to coordinate preparedness activities for public health and medical disaster response and prepares emergency plans and procedures for public health threats and medical surge events.
A healthcare background is preferred but not required. The planner should be skilled in Microsoft Suite – Word, Powerpoint, Excel.
Occasional overnight travel is anticipated. Travel expenses are reimbursed. The planner will work 24 hours per week for 10 months beginning September 2010 and concluding June 2011.
