Disaster Preparedness Solutions

Delta’s Disaster Preparedness Solutions (DPS) team can enhance preparedness by assisting clients in developing and implementing all-hazards emergency operations plans, public health plans, and other incident-specific plans/annexes; training program design and delivery; and developing, executing, and evaluating Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)-compliant exercises.

The DPS team’s areas of expertise include emergency operations, weapons of mass destruction, hazard mitigation, hazardous materials, the Incident Command System, National Incident Management System, risk communications, public health emergency preparedness, functional needs, and post-disaster community recovery at the facility, local, county, regional, and state levels.

Planning

Delta’s plans are based on stakeholder involvement and best practices so that all responders are operating in an effective, coordinated manner.

Training

Delta’s dynamic training programs ensure that responders know what roles they and others play during a response.

Exercises

Delta’s HSEEP-compliant exercises test organizations’ plans, policies, and procedures and reinforce responder training on emergency operations.
