PA DOH Mass Casualty Patient/Victim Tracking System
The Challenge
The Pennsylvania Department of Health (PA DOH) wanted to integrate and enhance Delta’s Total Visibility – Patient Tracking System (PTS) software to meet the Commonwealth’s business objectives. The PTS offers a dashboard view of emergency service activities related to mass casualty incident (MCI) victims. Information about a patient’s condition, treatment, and transport is collected from field service operations across the Commonwealth and displayed for health and emergency officials to monitor for one or multiple disaster events.
The Solution
The PTS is designed to be fully compatible with the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) to support harmonious communications with other systems and provide consistent data interpretation. The open communications module provides integration with third-party patient tracking and triage systems, as well as hospital systems. Delta continues to provide PA DOH with maintenance and support.
