VANESSA BRUBAKERVanessa Brubaker’s work experience in the public and private sectors, as well as abroad, has given her a solid foundation for understanding political structures and a valuable insight into legislative processes, public funding strategies, and government relations. As an Associate at Delta Development Group, Vanessa utilizes her experiences and skills to provide clients with grant application development, research, and legislative tracking.
Prior to joining Delta, Vanessa assisted the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture in the office of the Legislative Liaison. While there, she was responsible for monitoring legislative activity and composing bill analyses for proposed legislation. She also spent considerable time answering legislative requests and assisting the Department with various meetings and events.
During her undergraduate studies abroad in London, England, Vanessa worked in the House of Commons for Stewart Jackson, Member of Parliament (MP). She assisted with daily correspondence on the Member’s behalf and liaised with constituents and department ministers to complete casework related to immigration and social services. Vanessa also spent time in the M.P.’s district office supporting campaign efforts and special events. In addition, she spent three years working in Messiah College’s Office of Local Community Service, where she coordinated student volunteers for the College’s extensive service-learning program based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Vanessa graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors from Messiah College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in politics with a minor in business administration.
