NICOLE STETTLER HENDRICKSONNicole Stettler Hendrickson offers Delta’s clients her experience in state government and her unique perspective from both the legislative and executive branches. Her exceptional analytical skills and strong command of written communication allow Nicole to consistently generate high-quality, detail-oriented products. As a Senior Associate with Delta, she has been involved with economic development and transportation program assessments, in-depth issue research, legislative analysis, public funding strategies, and government relations.
Prior to joining Delta, Nicole worked as Legislative Manager in the Governor’s Office of Legislative Affairs. In that capacity, she monitored all moving legislation, coordinated the Governor’s Office positions, and communicated the administration’s positions on bills to legislators and staff. She provided guidance and strategy to legislative directors at the Pennsylvania Department of General Services, Fish and Boat Commission, Game Commission, Historic and Museum Commission, and the Council on the Arts. As the front-end responder to all legislative inquiries, Nicole gained valuable experience working with the Governor’s Office of the Budget and the Department of Community and Economic Development on legislative grant issues. Through daily communication with legislators and their staff, Nicole has learned and practiced the subtleties of political interaction.
Previously, Nicole worked for the Office of the Democratic Caucus Chair in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, where she prepared Caucus documents, drafted bill analyses and legislation, and communicated with Committee Executive Directors, the Governor’s Office, and leadership staff regarding the Caucus agenda and calendar. In addition, she assisted the Legislative Office for Research Liaison, utilizing her skills in research, analysis, and written communication to complete dozens of inquiry responses.
Nicole is a graduate of Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University and holds a Bachelors of Arts degree with honors in political science and a minor in theatre. Her undergraduate thesis, “Presentation of Self by Members of Congress through Official Websites: The Pennsylvania Delegation,” has been presented in both academic and nonacademic settings.
