KATIE STRINGENTKatie Stringent offers clients her experience in funding, government relations, community planning, and economic development. Her attention to detail, communication skills, and willingness to go above and beyond bring value and clarity to clients’ projects.
For Delta’s role in updating Johnstown, Pennsylvania’s Act 47 plan, Katie was a key team member who provided financial analysis and narrative in order to make projections of revenue and expenses for the coming years. In Delta’s work for Fayette County, Pennsylvania, Katie assisted with public outreach services by securing letters of support and letters of intent from over 80 entities in the county related to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration Broadband Technology Opportunities Program.
Prior to joining Delta, Katie assisted the Township of Upper St. Clair, where she handled citizen requests, coordinated the execution of the Township’s Allegheny County Regional Asset District grant, managed the submission of the Township’s Community Development Block Grants, and helped to oversee and coordinate the Township’s recycling efforts.
Katie also worked with the Borough of Dormont, where she developed the initial planning phase for the Borough’s Capital Improvement Plan, researched and developed the Borough-wide debt policy, and assembled the Borough’s application for the Allegheny Together Downtown Revitalization Program. She worked extensively on the Borough’s Community Development Block Grants.
Katie holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh, with a concentration in public and nonprofit management, and she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in crime, law, and justice from Penn State University.
