As Principal for Corporate Incentive Services (CIS), Dan Kennedy manages Delta Development Group’s incentive projects and clients. In this capacity, he secures local, state, and federal incentives for companies that are making new business investments. Delta’s CIS team provides clients with a comprehensive array of services that help in positioning their projects to receive the maximum amount of public incentives.
Prior to joining Delta, Dan held several senior management positions with the Governor's Action Team, including Acting Director and Deputy Director of Operations. During his time with the Action Team, Dan was instrumental in helping more than 300 businesses expand or locate in Pennsylvania. Some of the businesses he worked with include Lockheed Martin, Sony Electronics, Starbucks Coffee, Bush Industries, Simmons Mattress, and Cabela's.
Dan also served as a Senior Policy Specialist with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Resources (DER). During his tenure at DER, he contributed greatly to the design and implementation of the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority Program, and developed the Commonwealth's policy on the privatization of environmental infrastructure facilities.
Prior to residing in Pennsylvania, Dan served for three years as Administrator for his hometown of Madison, Ohio. As Madison’s highest appointed municipal official, he managed the daily operation of five departments.
Dan earned a bachelor’s degree from the Ohio State University and received a Master of Public Administration degree from Penn State University. He is also certified by the National Development Council as an Economic Development Finance Professional.
