AMY KAUFMANAmy Kaufman offers Delta’s clients her experience in commercial real estate, development projects, and community outreach. Her conscientious attention to the quality and accuracy of project deliverables, coupled with her excellent graphic skills base, consistently results in a superior work product for clients.
Prior to joining Delta, Amy served as a Municipal Consultant for the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Her community outreach efforts and extensive understanding of the requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program and the floodplain map modernization initiative of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) directly facilitated the floodplain mitigation and management ordinance update of 182 communities throughout Pennsylvania and FEMA Region III.
Amy has several years of experience in the commercial real estate development industry with Readco, LLC, of Old Lyme, Connecticut. She earned a reputation for establishing lasting relationships with stakeholders in a variety of project areas, including retail, industrial, office, and medical office uses. She collaborated with finance and operational executives in evaluating potential investment opportunities and development projects, including a 34-location, $250 million portfolio acquisition in 2009.
Serving for four years on behalf of Readco, LLC, Amy was a member of the Fundraising Board for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Connecticut’s Citizen of the Year Award Gala. She is currently a Board Member for the Better Days Animal League animal rescue and shelter of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania. She advocates for the community’s abused and abandoned animals through regular volunteer work, fundraising event coordination, and the recruitment and orientation of new volunteers and board members.
Graduating summa cum laude from Shippensburg University, Amy earned a bachelor’s degree in geography, with a concentration in land use and regional development and a certificate in Geographic Information Systems.
